Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Remo completed the double over Bayelsa following a late 1-0 win inspired by Flying Eagles star Adams Olamilekan in Ikenne.

The Sky Blues left it late to snatch victory in stoppage time through Olamilekan's composed finish in what was a tense clash.
Olamilekan reacted quickest when the ball was beautifully threaded through to him and with the goalkeeper to beat, he made no mistakes from close range.

But before the encounter, Remo announced their arrival for the match in style after taking to social media to share pictures of the players dressed in traditional attire.
"Back at home for the second stanza of #NPFL24 and trust us to appear in style with the Remo Stars Adire," the club posted before kick-off on X.

Remo would be made to work hard for the win by their visitors, who defended obdurately for 90 minutes.
The win, sealed deep into added time, fired Remo Stars to the top of the table as they have now leapfrogged holders Enyimba as the new leaders.
Remo boss Daniel Ogunmodede would be happy to see his Blues bounce back to winning ways swiftly, putting behind them the midweek defeat against Rangers in Enugu.
Remo will look to consolidate their spot at the NPFL summit when they travel to Lagos to face Sporting Lagos in their next match on Sunday.
