Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze joined AC Milan on a long-term deal this from Villarreal this summer.
Villarreal captain Dani Parejo has praised Samuel Chukwueze after the Nigerian international sent him a signed AC Milan shirt.
Chukwueze left Villarreal this summer after six years at the club to sign for AC Milan. The Super Eagles star signed a five-year deal with the Italian giants for a reported fee of €20m.
Paraejo predicts a big year for Chukwueze in Milan
Following his move to Milan, Chukwueze sent his signed jersey to his former captain in Villarreal, Parejo.

Parejo revealed this in a post on his Instagram story, with the former Real Madrid man thanking Chukwueze for the gift.

Chukwueze at Villarreal
Chukwueze had a successful six-year stay with Villarreal. The Nigerian winger broke into the Yellow Submarines’ first team in the 2018/2019 season.

Chukwueze’s performance against Barcelona and Real Madrid during his time in the Spanish top flight always stood out.
The 24-year-old had his best year last season, scoring 13 goals and recording 11 assists in all competitions, including two stunning strikes against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Chukwueze will now hope to improve on that at AC Milan. The Super Eagles star is expected to make his competitive debut when Milan open their Serie A campaign against Bologna on August 21.
