Pulse Sports reported this week that Jadon Sancho is nearing a transfer to Juventus after the Italian club agreed a €20 million (£17.3m) deal with Manchester United.

Manchester United have been eager to move Sancho on this summer after Chelsea declined a £25m offer for the winger and paid a £5m penalty to return him to Old Trafford.

Last month, the winger had a verbal agreement with Napoli, but the Serie A champions balked at United’s €25m (£21.3m) valuation.

La Stampa reports that Juventus held a “positive” meeting with United this week, finalizing a €20m (£17.3m) transfer package.

Sancho has also reportedly demanded a contract package worth just over €6m (£5.2m) annually to join Juventus, something that has been accepted by all parties.

The 24-year-old, who has one year left on his £300,000-a-week United contract, informed the club of his desire to leave this summer and was excused from pre-season training.

Sancho’s £73m move from Borussia Dortmund to United four years ago has been widely regarded as a significant disappointment.
