Remo Stars Academy Boys Beyond Limits have successfully made it to the final of the NPFL LaLiga U-15 Promises with Cristiano Ronaldo fan Opeyemi Yusuf in fine form.

Remo Stars academy boys Beyond Limits have set up a tantalising encounter against Mees Palace in the final of the NPFL LaLiga Under-15 Promises.

Beyond Limits booked their ticket to the final following a six-goal thriller against El Kanemi Warriors in the second semifinal of the day on Tuesday afternoon.

The No Limits Boys were inspired by a Cristiano Ronaldo-loving Opeyemi Yusuf and his partner in crime Oluwaseun Akanji, who both scored the goals for the Ikenne boys in the 4-2 victory.

In an entertaining battle between the two sides, it was the home side Beyond LImits who started brilliantly.

Seun opened the floodgates in the ninth minute before he doubled the advantage with his second on the half-hour mark to put the Sky Blues in a comfortable position.

El Kanemi did come back into the game when they pulled one back to make it 2-1 at the break.

However, it didn’t take long after the restart for Beyond to restore their two-goal advantage when Yusuf made it 3-1 with his first of the game.

The Warriors pulled back another goal to make it 3-2 and just when they thought they had a chance to draw level, but that man, Yusuf, struck again as he rounded the goalkeeper to seal the deal with his second and Remo’s fourth and celebrated with a Siu, a celebration made popular by Ronaldo.3

Yusuf has scored nine goals in five matches at the NPFL LaLiga U-15.

It would be a landmark number that means he has equalled the record set by Rangers International’s Million Coma in the first edition of the competition.

Yusuf could become the top scorer in the competition's history if he gets on the score sheet when they face Mees Palace in the final on Friday.
