From the men’s side, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi, and Raphinha are set to attend alongside head coach Hansi Flick.
However, two of the club’s biggest names, Robert Lewandowski and Pedri, will not be travelling.
Pedri’s decision
According to reports from AS, Pedri has chosen not to attend the gala, despite being tipped to finish in a high position in the final Ballon d’Or rankings.
The midfielder is instead prioritising his physical condition ahead of Barcelona’s busy fixture schedule.
At just 22, Pedri has already become a cornerstone of the Blaugrana midfield, but his relentless workload has raised concerns in past seasons. By skipping the ceremony, he hopes to use the time to recover and prepare for crucial upcoming matches.
Packed schedule ahead
Barcelona face a demanding run of fixtures over the next 10 days. The Catalan giants hosted Getafe on Sunday night and are now gearing up for back-to-back clashes against Real Sociedad, followed closely by their Champions League home opener against Paris Saint-Germain.
With four decisive matches crammed into little more than a week, the Spanish international has opted to focus on his recovery rather than add the travel strain of a round trip to Paris.
Despite Pedri’s absence, Barcelona will still be well represented at the Ballon d’Or ceremony. Teenage sensation Lamine Yamal is considered one of the standout young nominees, while manager Hansi Flick is expected to attend alongside key players.
