Real Madrid set to be without Jude Bellingham following his two game suspension

Jude Bellingham's stint at Real Madrid might see him sidelined for three matches in the next few weeks, courtesy of a two-game ban for dissent.

The English international recent suspension stems from his sending-off in Real Madrid's 2-2 draw with Valencia.

The young talent will be sitting out the upcoming clash against Celta Vigo at home and the subsequent away fixture against Osasuna.

Bellingham’s ban

The dispute arose when referee Jesus Gil Manzano disallowed what could have been the winning goal, scored by the England midfielder.

Gil's whistle blew barely a second after Brahim Diaz's cross, which Bellingham headed in. According to the referee's report, Bellingham's reaction was deemed 'aggressive and shouting.'

Ancelotti came to his player's defence, stating that Bellingham hadn't insulted the match official but merely exclaimed, 'It’s a f***ing goal.'

The Spanish Football Federation upheld the red card decision, despite Madrid's appeal, but opted for the minimum ban length for Bellingham's infraction, as reported by Daily Mail.

Following these suspensions, there's an international break looming, with Madrid slated to return to action on March 31 against Athletic Bilbao, marking Bellingham's anticipated comeback. The midfielder is set to return to action on April 14 for a clash against Mallorca.
