Pellegrini speaks on Antony
In a recent interview with Brazilian media, as reported by Sportal, Antony described his time in England as extremely challenging, admitting there were days he didn't eat and remained isolated at home.
"I spoke with Antony before he came to Betis. He told me he wasn't playing for Manchester United because he wasn't happy.
)
"He's not satisfied with what he achieved in England and wants to take on the Premier League and show them what he can do. I believe he's capable of achieving that," Pellegrini stated in the pre-match press conference before the Chelsea game.
The Chilean manager was also asked about the possibility of Betis buying Antony, for whom Manchester United paid Ajax €100 million.

Reports in Western Europe suggest that Atlético Madrid and Juventus are prepared to bid for Antony.
"It's not easy to find €100 million for a single player. Antony is a very good player, and I'm sure it's crucial for him to continue his development," Pellegrini added.
Since arriving at the Benito Villamarín Stadium, Antony has scored nine goals in 25 appearances, including goals in both Conference League semi-final legs against Fiorentina.
