Paris Saint-Germain have set their sight on Napoli defender Min-Jae Kim as they look to snatch the deal from Manchester United.

Min-Jae Kim has had an impressive campaign with Napoli, leading the defensive line and securing their first Scudetto in 30 years.

The French powerhouses want to add a central defender during the summer transfer window. Napoli's Min-Jae Kim is one player the French team made their new target.

PSG looking to sign a defender

PSG are in the transfer market for a defender as they look for a possible replacement for the aged Sergio Ramos.

RMC Sport (h/t Paris Fans) reported on Thursday that PSG sporting director Luis Campos has lately contacted the South Korean's agent for a potential transfer to France.

The Les Parisiens are looking to reshape their squad and allow some old legs to leave with the likes of Lionel Messi set to leave at the end of the season.

However, the French media outlet reveals no agreement, especially since the 26-year-old defender prefers the Premier League.

Kim on the radar of European clubs

It was reported a few days ago that Manchester United are watching the progress of the South Korean and looking to sign him in the summer.

However, other clubs, such as Liverpool, have also made enquiries about the availability of Kim with his contract set to expire in 2025.

The current Serie A champions are not in a rush to sell him their star player and will only let him go for a substantial fee.

PSG already has Milan Skriniar under contract after signing him as a free agent to a pre-contract, so if they were to land their man, he would be their second centre-back to join.
