Salah’s contract extension, which was confirmed on Friday, sees his weekly wage rise from £350,000 to £400,000, putting the Reds legend level with Manchester City’s outgoing legend Kevin De Bruyne, as per The Sun via Goal.

By those figures, Salah is only just behind De Bruyne's teammate Erling Haaland, who still holds the crown as the Premier League’s highest-paid player, earning £500,000 per week.
