Vinicius' demand
According to Spanish newspaper "Sport", a final agreement has yet to be reached, despite earlier reports suggesting the contract was ready to be signed.
Real Madrid have offered Vinicius a five-year contract worth €100 million net, equivalent to an annual salary of €20 million.
However, Vinicius is reportedly seeking a salary that matches or exceeds the highest earners in the squad. He currently earns €15 million annually, on par with Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé.

Mbappé's overall package is reportedly higher due to a signing bonus that takes his earnings above €20 million.
Clubs from Saudi Arabia have also expressed interest in Vinicius, reportedly offering considerably higher sums. The player is leveraging this interest in his negotiations with Real Madrid.
However, according to reports, the club does not plan to increase its offer this summer, though both sides remain hopeful of reaching an agreement.
