Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen dismissed talks of a future away from Naples, saying he preferred to bask in the euphoria of their new Scudetto title.
The Lagos-born striker led the Partenopei to their first league title in 33 years in spectacular fashion, scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Udinese to earn them the one point needed to clinch the title.

Osimhen thought the timing of the question was wrong, as he had just led a team to their first Scudetto title since 1990 and only the third in their history.
He revealed that he was only interested in celebrating at that moment, as he could not wait to return to Naples to celebrate with the fans.

The former Lille man is one of the best strikers in Europe this season and has attracted interest from the top clubs in the continent.
Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are some of the clubs that have been linked with the striker, but they will have to wait until at least after he is done with celebrations.
With the end-of-season awards set to take place soon, the Super Eagles forward will be a shoo-in for a number of accolades, including the prestigious African Player of the Year award for 2023.
