“Ashley Cole was there,” Aina said. “JT (John Terry). JT was a big one for us because he was really good with the academy boys.
“All my memories that I’ve had with JT—they’ve been really good. He’s a really supportive guy. He just knows how to connect with the young ones.”
Aina achieved success with his idol, as he was a member of the Chelsea squad that won the 2016/17 Premier League title under Antonio Conte in John Terry's last season at the club.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles ace has been linked with a move back to his boyhood club. He excelled for Nottingham Forest this season and was a key member of the team that is set to return the Tricky Trees back to Europe's elite competition for the first time since the 60s. Hence, he has gotten himself on the radar of a number of top clubs, including Chelsea.
