Liverpool prepare another offer
According to Liverpool news site DaveOCKOP.com, via Sportal, Liverpool will make another offer to Newcastle, with the bid totalling £140 million.
The source details the proposed structure, which includes an upfront payment of £80 million, £50 million for the following year, and £10 million in add-ons. The new offer could reportedly be submitted as early as today.
Newcastle reportedly values Isak at £150 million and is also prioritising securing a suitable replacement before sanctioning any departure.
Most sources indicate the rejected initial bid was in the region of £120 million plus add-ons, with the structure not suitable for Newcastle.
