The 33-year-old tactician has been appointed as the first assistant coach at Rivers United, reuniting with Finidi in a move that has excited fans keen to see them replicate their 2023 success.

Olanrewaju and Finidi’s partnership is already a proven formula for success. In 2022, Finidi named Olanrewaju as his assistant at Enyimba, where together they led the Aba giants to a record-extending ninth NPFL title in 2023.
