The Super Falcons star joined Besiktas from Gintra.

Super Falcons striker Vivian Ikechukwu has completed her move to Besiktas from Gintra.

The center-forward's one-year contract at the Lithuanian side expired last December, and he joined Besiktas on a one-and-a-half-year deal.

Ikechukwu moved to Europe in 2022

The striker completed her professional move to the European nation in March 2022 from the Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL) team, the Rivers Angels.

The 25-year-old forward scored 14 goals and 14 assists in 19 appearances for Gintra to guarantee the club her 21st domestic crown in her maiden season in the Lithuanian league.

Before she moved abroad, Ikechukwu joined the Rivers Angels from the Abia Angels in 2018 and won her first NWFL title with the team.

She also won the 2018 Women’s Aiteo Cup in Yenagoa, the 2019 NWFL title with the Jewel of the Rivers, and at the 2021 Super 6 tournament in Ijebu-Ode.

She scored four goals and made five assists to help her side to a seventh league title and representation at the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League during the Super Six.

The Turkish giants announced the arrival of Ikechukwu at Vodafone Park.

Vivian Ikechukwu wins Lithuanian League

The club on their website confirmed, “Beşiktaş Vodafone women’s football team recently signed a contract with Vivian Ikechukwu, who played for FC Gintra Team. We welcome our athlete and wish him many successes with our glorious jersey.”

The player will be having a new test in the Turkish league during the season.
