Spain’s all-time leading goalscorer, Jenni Hermoso, has responded with defiance and dignity after being left out of La Roja’s squad for the 2025 UEFA Women’s Euros in Switzerland.
The 35-year-old, who now plays for Tigres UANL in Mexico, played a vital role in Spain’s historic 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup triumph, scoring three goals during the tournament.

“I truly have a clear conscience, especially when I remove environments with such bad energy from my life,” she wrote.
