PSG looking to end Galtier relationship
PSG’s current manager, Christophe Galtier, is expected to leave the club at the end of the season despite having a season left on his contract after he failed to get Les Parisiens past the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League and Coupe de France while struggling to stay atop the Ligue 1 table.
PSG’s first choice to replace Galtier appears to be two-time UCL winner Mourinho, who is believed to be discontent with the current situation at Roma.
Mourinho joined Roma in 2021, leading them to their first European title in 61 years by winning the UEFA Conference League in his first season.
Mourinho tipped for Roma exit with PSG lurking
However, things have not continued as expected for Mourinho at Roma, with the Portuguese boss unsure of his continuation in Italy after tensions started to rise over transfer targets at the Roman club.
Reports suggest that talks between Mourinho and PSG are at an advanced stage, with the Portuguese manager already meeting with Les Parisiens’ sporting director Luis Campos.

Campos has already had a run-in with Galtier this season after appearing on the team’s touchline to override the PSG coach by belting out instructions directly to the players, and it appears that he would be happy to see Galtier out of his current position.
French news outlet RMC report that Mourinho and Campos have been in negotiations over a proposed move, although other managers like former PSG star Thiago Motta and Julian Naglesmann have also been considered to lead the Paris club’s new project.
