Olunga will be facing Cristiano Ronaldo as Al Duhail is set to clash with Al Nassr in a high-stakes AFC Champions League clash.

Michael Olunga will be facing Cristiano Ronaldo for the second time with both strikers keen to get goals for their respective sides as Al Duhail face Al Nassr in a high-stakes Asian Champions League match on Tuesday evening.

Al Duhail last played on October 14th in the first round of the Qatari Stars Cup, running out 2-0 winners.

The first time the two players came head to head was back in March 2018 when Olunga turned out for Girona and Ronaldo was in the books of Real Madrid.

Ismail Mohamed scored the first goal in the 65th minute, benefiting from the through pass by Philippe Coutinho before the Brazilian scored the second goal from a penalty kick awarded by the referee after Suhaib Gennan was brought down in the box.

Al Duhail have landed in Saudi Arabia ahead of the crunch fixture against the Group E leaders, and must not lose if they are to stand a chance of giving them a strong position when they host them in the return leg later this year.

The team’s delegation received a warm welcome from the Al Nasr management, which received them with flowers, before heading to the Vittore Palace Hotel.

Al Nassr edged Damec 2-1 on Saturday to give them 22 points and keep them third in the league table, four points behind leaders Al Hilal after 10 league games.

Anderson Talisca scored the first goal for Al Nassr in the 52nd minute, before CRonaldo scored the second goal four minutes later.

Ronaldo currently leads the goalscoring charts on 11 goals in the Saudi Pro League, while Olunga is third on five goals in the Qatari Stars League.
