Meet the 8 teams promoted from Nigeria's third division to the NNL

The 2023 season will see eight teams promoted to the Nigeria National League, with the eighth, to be decided on Sunday.

Eight Nationwide League One (NLO) teams have gained promotions to Nigeria's second-tier league following their victories in the national playoffs during the weekend.

Among the promoted sides include relegated National League League (NNL) side Osun United, who made a swift return to the second tier on Friday, after beating Shooting Stars (Team B) 3-0 in the promotion play-off in Ikenne.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Beyond Limits FA: the academy club of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Remo Stars, also secured promotion to the second-tier league following a 4-1 victory over First Bank FC.

To complete the promoted sides was Dynamite Force who defeated Kun Khalifa in the final promotion qualification game at the Eket Stadium, on Sunday.
