Manchester United had three bids rejected by Chelsea, with the recent bid worth £50 million plus £5 million.
Chelsea were demanding a proposal of £58m plus £7m in add-ons, with United making it clear that they won’t go above their third offer.
However, according to Romano Fabrizio on Twitter, “Manchester United agreed a £60 million package deal for Mason Mount with Chelsea. It’s done, here we go!
“Personal terms agreed weeks ago and face-to-face talks between clubs made it clear: the agreement is done. Mount became a Utd player, they never left the race.”
The 24-year-old is on the verge of moving to Old Trafford and he is expected to do his medicals soon.

According to Romano Fabrizio on Twitter, “Both parties had a face-to-face meeting which was crucial to making them agree on £55 million plus £5 million add ons fee.
“Mason Mount is expected to sign a contract that will be valid until June 2028 which is a five-year deal.
“It is also understood that Mason Mount will undergo medicals with Man United after the weekend.”
Despite several negotiation breakdowns between both parties, a fee has been agreed upon and Mount will soon be Man United’s first signing of the summer.
