According to reports, Borussia Dortmund made a loan offer to Manchester United for Jadon Sancho which was rejected.

Since his £73 million transfer from the Bundesliga's big clubs to Old Trafford in 2021, the 23-year-old winger has mostly disappointed.

The English forward has been linked to several clubs across Europe with the likes of Tottenham and Newcastle monitoring his situation.

However, according to reports, Dortmund have offered Man United a loan deal for their former player but the offer was rejected.

United considering permanent move for Sancho

Ten Hag intends to sell up some players during the current transfer window in order to increase United’s transfer budget.

And Sancho was said to be one of the players for whom United is open to offers after having a difficult time at the club.

When Erik ten Hag assumed leadership last summer, he was looking forward to a new beginning.

However he generally failed to regain his former Dortmund form, and the manager sent him to Holland for additional training after he was left out of England's World Cup squad.

United have reportedly turned down a cheeky request from his former team to loan him out as they only want a permanent offer for him according to Planet Sport as reported by the Sun.

This report also states that the Red Devils might be sufficient with a bid of roughly £45 million if they were willing to cut their losses.

Sancho’s rise

In 2017, Sancho moved from Manchester City to Dortmund, where he immediately made an impact on the first team and won over many supporters.

Over his 104 appearances, he contributed several assists and scored 38 goals to help his team win the DFB Pokal and German Supercup.

Manchester United signed Sancho from Dortmund in 2021 for a fee worth £73 million after an impressive season.

He has played a total of 79 games, scored 12 goals and provided six assists for Man United within the last two seasons.

His performance has led to his recent inclusion in Man United’s possible transfer this summer as they look to bring in new faces for next season.
