Last night, new signing Andre Onana conceded two goals against Madrid and Manchester United supporters began pleading for David de Gea to come back.

With De Gea winning the Golden Glove in the final year of his 12 years at Old Trafford, United's new £47 million man always had enormous shoes to fill.

The Cameroonian made his first appearance in a United shirt against Real Madrid with new signing Joselu scoring an overhead kick and Bellingham chipping Andre Onana.

Man United fans have now called for De Gea’s return after seeing Onana concede two remarkable goals in his first preseason friendly.

The second goal was also scored despite Onana, this time by Joselu, a past flop in the Premier League, who scored an overhead kick.

Due to the transfer of Karim Benzema, the 33-year-old is currently playing the season on loan at Real.

But, his miserable stints at Newcastle and Stoke, where he scored just 11 goals in three seasons, are what English fans will remember him for the most.

Joselu, though, silenced any sceptics in the crowd with a stunning overhead goal with Onana staying rooted to his position without attempting the ball

Manchester United supporters were left in disbelief, with some even requesting De Gea's immediate comeback.

The Sun reported some of the comments made by United fans, with one saying, “Still can’t get over this Joselu bicycle kick goal.”

Another declared, “We actually downgraded. We need De Gea back ASAP.”

One noted, “Onana didn’t even make an attempt.”

Another mentioned, “De Gea would have saved that.”
