Football fans have reacted to Taiwo Awoniyi's record-equaling goal for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League with the Super Eagles star rated higher than Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund.
They fought hard against Sheffield United and got a 2-1 win in their second game of the season.
Nigerian superstar Taiwo Awoniyi opened the scoring in the third minute of the first half but Gustavo Hamer's screamer cancelled Awoniyi’s opener.
However, Nottingham Forest did not back down and got the equaliser in the 88th minute through substitute Chris Wood.

Nottingham Forest had a penalty appeal but was waved off. Taiwo Awoniyi charges into the box and goes down but the officials and VAR team do not see the incident as a penalty.
The home team looked comfortable and tried to get the second goal of the game but Sheffield United were strong to withstand their attack.
The referee blew the whistle for the end of the first half with Nottingham Forest leading Sheffield 1-0.
The second half started and the away side got the better of the home side by scoring the equaliser.

In the 48th minute at the start of the second half, Forest didn't properly clear a corner and Gustavo Hamer bends a screamer into the top corner from the far corner of the box for his first Sheffield United goal.
Forest's Serge Aurier had another penalty appeal after he was caught by Yasser Larouci in the box but this was not given by the referee.
