Mamadou Sakho’s troubles
The 33-year-old spent eight years with Premier League giants, Liverpool and Crystal Palace before returning home to France.
Sakho has been at Montpellier since 2021 but his future at the club now looks uncertain following a fight with coach.

According to a report by Daily Mail, the defender and coach had a heated exchange, resulting in Sakho grabbing Der Zakarian by his collar, and knocking him to the ground after training.
Zakarian’s crime was that he failed to give a foul in favour of the former Crystal Palace man, who reacted furiously before leaving the training pitch.

The coach reportedly reacted to Sakho walking out of training by telling the defender that the training was ‘not a la carte,’ the report added.
This comment from the coach angered the former Premier League star who then reacted by knocking the manager to the ground before his teammates and staff stepped in to stop an escalation.
Coach Der Zakarian was left furious as he banged on the walls and doors to let out his frustration.
Following the incident, the defender could become jobless after his misconduct if the club decides to take things further.
Sakho, who has made just one league appearance this season for the club, could have played his last for the club as he had already been told he is no longer a part of the coach’s plans.
