Despite spending more than £550m on new players this season, Potter leaves Chelsea in 11th place.

After the confirmation that Chelsea have sacked Graham Potter as manager, Kenyan fans have reacted to the news in different ways.

Potter has been shown the door after just seven months in charge at Stamford Bridge, and Julian Nagelsmann – who was sacked a week ago by Bayern Munich - has been tipped to succeed him.

The sack came just a day after the Blues lost 2-0 to Aston Villa, and this means he leaves after winning only seven of his 22 Premier League games in charge.

When he was appointed to succeed Thomas Tuchel, Potter was handed a long term deal of five years but only managed to see through seven months of that deal.

After the home loss to Villa, Chelsea are now 11th in the league table and lie 12 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

Former Brighton defender Bruno Saltor will now be in charge of the first team ahead of their match against Liverpool on Tuesday.

The London club is also set to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final.

One fan was categorical that Chelsea must repent for sacking Thomas Tuchel. The German tactician guided the club to Champions League glory before he was shown the door amid a poor run, especially in the league.

Another predicts which position Chelsea will finish in with or without the former Brighton manager.

One gave Potter a suggestion: 'Just go back to Brighton’.

It was a bad mistake to appoint Potter, another KOT commented and revealed he will be happy that Chelsea will have a new manager for the Real Madrid game.

Another explained why Potter should move to Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs’ coaching position fell vacant after the club parted ways with Antonio Conte.

Chelsea want a world-class manager, Peter Saitoti empathized.

Julian Nagelsmann? No. "Go for Luis Enrique," said Mwaniki MJ.

Albanus claimed Chelsea fans deserve better, as Potter’s reign was torturous.
