Bayern Munich fans have started to see a return on investment on Harry Kane after the English striker scored and assisted on his debut in a 4-0 rout of Werder Bremen.
The Bavarians first Bundesliga game of the season started in perfect fashion as they began their title defense on a strong foot to set the tempo for the 2023/24 season.
Everyone at Bayern Munich would have been especially excited to see new signing, Kane get off the mark on his first start for the club in a convincing win over Werder Bremen.
The England international was involved in two of the goals as he also assisted Bayern Munich’s opening goal of the new season, setting up Leroy Sane to give Bayern Munich a 1-0 lead after only four minutes of the new season.
Sane secured a brace for himself late in the second half before substitute Mathys Tel rounded up the scoring in the 94th minute to seal a 4-0 opening day victory over Werder Bremen who hardly threatened their visitors.
Bayern Munich stumbled to the Bundesliga title in the 2022/23 season with a huge helping hand from Borussia Dortmund, but they will be confident of a more domineering run to the Bundesliga title this season after making such an assured start to the new season and with Kane looking like he will fit right into the team and new league.
