The Super Eagles of Nigeria have officially begun their camp in Rabat, Morocco, as they prepare to face Gabon in the African World Cup playoffs semifinal on Thursday.

The camp, which is being held at the Rive hotel, has seen the arrival of officials, with six players already present, including Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, and Wilfred Ndidi.

The Super Eagles secured their spot in the playoffs as one of the best runners-up across the nine African groups, finishing behind South Africa in Group C.

Nigeria will face Gabon on November 13, with the winner advancing to play either Cameroon or DR Congo in the final playoff on November 16.

The winner of the African playoffs will represent the continent in the intercontinental playoffs in March 2026, competing against teams from other regions for a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
