Nigerian stars Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella to continue in Bundesliga under new Bayer Leverkusen coach Erik ten Hag, who replaces Xabi Alonso and aims to build an ambitious team through 2027.
He revealed this at Monday's press conference, his first official appearance as manager of "Los Blancos."
Alonso made 236 competitive appearances for Real Madrid, winning six trophies during his time with the club: the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, La Liga, two Copa del Rey titles, and the Spanish Super Cup.

Alonso revealed that today is a special day for him as returned back to his former club as a manager.
"My connection with Madrid has always been there; that feeling has just returned. It's a special day for me, one I'll remember for the rest of my life. I feel at home here, and I'm happy to be back," Alonso said, according to DPA.

Xabi Alonso Succeeds Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid Manager
Real Madrid has officially entered the Xabi Alonso era with the club's announcement of the Spanish coach.
The Spaniard also spoke about Carlo Ancelotti, from whom he takes over on June 1st.
