Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick has categorically opened up on his plans for Glasshouse.

Pinnick ruled out any possibility of returning to the helm of Nigerian football, stating clearly that while he is eligible, he has no desire to take up the role again.

Speaking in a video clip shared by News Central TV, Pinnick dismissed ongoing speculation about a potential comeback amid persistent challenges facing Nigerian football.

“I’m young, I’m 55, I can still be an NFF president, but do I want to be? Never,” he said.

Amaju Pinnick served as NFF president from 2014 to 2022.
Under his leadership, the Super Eagles qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, emerging from a tough qualifying group that included Cameroon, Zambia, and Algeria.

However, Nigeria failed to progress beyond the group stage at the tournament.
His tenure was also marred by recurring disputes over unpaid player allowances, frequent coaching changes, and allegations of political interference within the federation.
