‘I'm keeping quiet’ - Turkish pundit reacts to Galatasaray link to Salah after just signing Osimhen
Liverpool star Salah recently revealed that he has had a fallout with his manager following the team's poor form.
The Egyptian claimed to have been scapegoated for how the team has performed this season in the Premier League.
This has led to the star player being left out of the team squad ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash.
Aybaba speaks on Salah’s possible signing
Following the incident, Salah has been linked with a move away from the Premier League, with Galatasaray eyeing a possible transfer.
Speaking on the program Telegol, Aybaba admitted he was initially sceptical about the club's ability to secure a player of Osimhen's calibre.
"Can you imagine Galatasaray's squad right now?" Aybaba said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi. "I said, 'Galatasaray can't even buy Osimhen's shoes,' but they bought Osimhen. We didn't believe it."
The pundit also addressed the persistent rumours linking Liverpool's Mohamed Salah with a move to the Istanbul giants.
While he stopped short of confirming any negotiations, his comments suggested that such a high-profile transfer is not out of the question.
"I won't say anything about Mohamed Salah for now. I'm keeping quiet, but Salah could come too," he stated cryptically.
The club's ambitious transfer strategy has already captured significant attention, and the prospect of adding more world-class talent has generated considerable excitement among the fanbase.
