'I only want players who are happy to be at Chelsea' - Maresca tells Madueke amidst Arsenal link

There has been speculation surrounding the futures of Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku, and Nicolas Jackson, who did travel with the team to the United States.

Players like Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix, Axel Disasi, and Ben Chilwell, who were not part of the squad for the Premier League Summer Series, are among those who could potentially move on.

Maresca has given his take on players like Madueke, who are looking to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with Arsenal edging closer to signing the player.

"My message to the players and the club is that I only want players who are happy to be here. Those who aren't are free to go," Maresca commented, as reported by Sportal.

"I'm just focused on how to work day-by-day with the players. I think about how I can improve them and how I can improve the team. And to try to win as much as we can," he added.

It's shaping up to be a busy summer at Stamford Bridge with recent signings Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Diego Moreira, and Mamadou Sarr soon to be joined by Lesley Ugochukwu, Angelo Gabriel, and Deivid Washington.
