Carlo Ancelotti has indicated his displeasure with the timing of Brazil's announcement regarding his appointment as their new head coach.

Real Madrid's performance this season has been a bit of a rollercoaster, which has led to Carlo Ancelotti coming under a lot of pressure.

The team's poor performance in Laliga and the UEFA Champions League led to the manager's announced departure at the end of the season.

He is set to become the head coach of the Brazilian national team, which has been announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation.

What Ancelotti said

Carlo Ancelotti's appointment as the Brazil national team coach was confirmed on Monday and he will assume his position on May 26, following the conclusion of the LaLiga season.

The CBF expressed gratitude to Real Madrid for their collaboration, but Ancelotti seems uneasy with his new employers' announcement.

Speaking at a press conference as reported by Daily Mail, Ancelotti said, “If I didn't have this news conference today, it would have been a fantastic day.

“But in this news conference I have to explain things that I don't want to explain. Until the 25th, I wear the Real Madrid shirt, which I respect very much.”

Ancelotti emphasised his respect for his current team and jersey, stating he doesn't want to be asked about other matters and intends to honour his commitment until the end. He also expressed his overall happiness with his current situation.

“Real Madrid will release the statement when they want. There's no problem whatsoever,” said Ancelotti. “They'll do it at the appropriate time for Real Madrid and there's nothing further to add.”

Carlo Ancelotti's second tenure as manager in Madrid will conclude with an impressive addition of 11 trophies to his already distinguished career.

These include two La Liga championships, two more Champions League titles, and another Copa del Rey victory.
