Former Arsenal and Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor has shared his profound respect for Nigerian football legend Nwankwo Kanu.
Adebayor was reportedly addressing claims comparing the two icons by promptly dismissing any such debate in a heartfelt social media post.
“I beg you people, Kanu [Nwankwo] is my idol and my god of football. So please, no comparison needed here. Thank you for understanding,” Adebayor stated, as quoted by Brila.
