Graham Potter could return to management this summer, with Crystal Palace said to have contacted him for the managerial position.

Ex-Chelsea coach Graham Potter is reportedly in talks with Crystal Palace to become their next manager.

The former Brighton boss was fired by Chelsea after a run of poor results. He is now said to have been approached by the leadership at Selhurst Park.

According to Foot Mercato, the 48-year-old is in line to become the next coach of the Eagles and has been approached in that regard.

Palace switched managers two months ago, firing Patrick Vieira after a bad run of results and replacing him with former boss Roy Hodgson.

The 75-year-old's impact was tremendous, and the Eagles turned things around, seeing improved form from their attacking talents and ending the season 11th on the log, a place and two points above Chelsea.

It remains to be seen if Hodgson is interested in continuing in the role, but according to the report, Palace are already preparing to make Potter his replacement.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino has been confirmed as the new Chelsea boss on a multi-year contract after the club concluded an extensive search for Graham Potter’s replacement.

The 51-year-old Argentine tactician is set to begin his Chelsea tenure from next season, with interim boss Frank Lampard being allowed to see out the current campaign.
