The move is set to make Woltemade one of Newcastle’s most expensive signings in history.
The German international is expected to replace Alexander Isak, who has expressed a strong desire to join Liverpool this summer.
Woltemade has already accepted Newcastle’s offer and, per reports, has said his goodbyes to his Stuttgart teammates.
The striker enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season, scoring 17 goals in 33 matches, including a decisive strike in the DFB-Pokal final that set Stuttgart on course for a dominant victory.
Capped twice by Germany, Woltemade is regarded as one of the brightest attacking talents in the Bundesliga and will be tasked with leading Newcastle’s frontline as the club aims to push further in both domestic and European competitions.
