Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze has informed the club of his desire to join Tottenham, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder has agreed to the move and is now waiting for the two clubs to agree on a fee. Eze had a £68 million release clause in his contract, which expired on Friday, meaning Palace will now have the final say on any potential transfer.

Tottenham's pursuit of Eze has intensified following the recent knee injury to James Maddison.
On Friday, new Tottenham manager Thomas Frank confirmed that the club is working tirelessly to secure its transfer targets.
Meanwhile, Palace boss Oliver Glasner confirmed that both Eze and Marc Guéhi are training with the squad and but not available for tomorrow's clash with Chelsea.
There had been speculation that Arsenal were also planning a bid for the Palace midfielder, but Tottenham have emerged as the clear frontrunners in recent days.
Spurs are also continuing to pursue a deal for Manchester City winger Savinho. City have already rejected one offer for the Brazilian, but talks are ongoing.
