'Don’t stop' – New Super Eagles rising star shares heartfelt message after first start

The latest Super Eagles player Chrisantus Uche gave glory to God and dropped a powerful message of self-belief after making his first international start.

Chrisantus Uche, the latest rising star in the Super Eagles squad, has expressed deep gratitude to God and delivered an inspiring message of self-belief following his first start for Nigeria.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who plays for Getafe, made his international debut during the Unity Cup, coming on in the final 15 minutes against Jamaica.

Building on that debut, Uche earned his first starting role in the friendly match against Russia, where he played for 76 minutes before being substituted.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Toluwase Arokodare coming off the bench to score the equaliser and claim hero status.

Days after the match, Uche took to Instagram to reflect on his journey and share a powerful message with fans and fellow players.

The young midfielder, who can also play as an emergency centre forward, earned his Super Eagles call after a dream debut campaign in the Super Eagles.

In his first-ever season in one of Europe’s top five leagues, after moving from a third division side, Uche contributed 10 goals to help his Getafe side retain their LaLiga status.
