Chelsea have agreed terms to sign another attacker after acquiring Liam Delap.
Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Brighton for the signing of Brazilian forward Joao Pedro.
The 23-year-old joined the Seagulls from fellow English side Watford in the summer of 2023 and has since been an integral member of their team. He is now set to join Chelsea, pending completion of his medical.

The figures in the deal
According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have reached an agreement with Brighton for a transfer fee in excess of £50 million.
Pedro is currently in Brazil and will undergo his medicals before travelling to join the rest of the Blues squad in the USA. He is expected to be registered for the knockout stage of the competition, as permitted by the regulations.
Pedro will reportedly sign a seven-year deal, which will keep him contracted to the club until at least 2027. Chelsea have been working on the deal for weeks and have now beaten Newcastle, who also made a serious effort to sign the Brazilian.
Chelsea's transfer window so far
Pedro would become the second addition Chelsea are making to their already stacked forward line this summer, after signing Liam Delap from Ipswich.
Estevao, who is currently shining for Palmeiras at the Club World Cup, will also join the squad after the competition ends. Still, Chelsea are rumoured to be eyeing more offensive talents.
