Barcelona claimed the La Liga title after defeating Espanyol 2-0 on Thursday night away from home.

Barcelona's victory resulted in them surpassing Real Madrid, the previous season's champions, by a margin of seven points, thus claiming the top position in the league table.

Following Barcelona’s triumph, Messi celebrated with the team, having posted on his Instagram story.

Under the comment section, the Barcelona legend responded with a comment, “Felicidades!!!👏👏👏🔵🔴.”

The Argentine legend then reshared the Barcelona post and his comment on his Instagram story.

Messi's 19-season tenure at Barcelona saw him score 678 goals and provide 260 assists. During his time with the club, he won a total of 35 trophies.
