Victor Osimhen celebrated Galatasaray's 2-0 win over Trabzonspor, bringing them within two points of the Super Lig title, and shared an emotional message with fans on Instagram, urging them to prepare for a potential double with the Turkish Cup final looming.

Nigerian and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen expressed his pride and gratitude to Galatasaray and their fans via Instagram Stories after the team took a massive step toward securing the Super Lig title.

Osimhen and his teammates powered Galatasaray to a 2-0 victory over Trabzonspor, putting them on the verge of clinching the championship, needing just two points from their final three games.

The Cim-Bom’s win, powered by goals from Abdulkerim Bardakci and Alvaro Morata, came 24 hours after Fenerbahce appeared to have reignited their fading title hopes with a 4-1 thrashing of Basaksehir.

Galatasaray’s win against Mikel Obi and Anthony Nwakaeme’s former club sees them maintain their eight-point lead at the top heading into the final three games of the season.

While Osimhen didn’t add to his impressive 24-goal tally this season, his relentless energy was evident throughout the match.

In an emotional post, the 26-year-old wrote: “Another big step taken! Super proud of this team!!!!”

Osimhen has thanked Gala fans for their energy and support.

“To the Galatasaray fans, your energy fuels us. We feel your passion in every pass, every tackle, every goal. We’re almost there, the league title is within touching distance. Time to start warming up those dancing shoes!”

Osimhen also shifted focus to the upcoming Turkish Cup final, adding, “It’s not over yet. All focus now turns to Wednesday. Let’s finish this season the Galatasaray way: with pride, passion, and silverware. God is the Greatest.”
