Additionally, Sporting coach Ruben Amorim has emerged as another contender linked to the Catalan giants.

As Barcelona navigates through this transitional period, Xavi's side remains focused on their on-field endeavours, seeking a return to winning ways following a goalless draw against Athletic Club.

Their upcoming La Liga clash against Mallorca presents a crucial opportunity to reignite their campaign and maintain momentum amidst the backdrop of managerial uncertainty.
