Falcons Seek Revenge and Olympic Qualification

The Super Falcons are highly motivated for this matchup. They haven't beaten Banyana Banyana in regulation time for a long period.

Additionally, they aim to avenge their 2-1 defeat to South Africa in the group stage of the 2023 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which Banyana Banyana went on to win.

Falcons' Potential Lineup

Nigeria's potential starting lineup could feature goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, a defense with World Cup stars Osinachi Ohale and Michelle Alozie, potentially joined by Okeke and Oladipo.

The midfield might see the combination of Halimatu Ayinde and Christy Ucheibe alongside the skillful Ajibade and Deborah Abiodun.

Upfront, Esther Okoronkwo and Uchenna Kanu could lead the attack, with options like Gift Monday, Omorinsola Babajide, and Chiwendu Ihezuo providing support.

South Africa's team, comprising 24 players, arrived Abuja on Sunday evening ahead of the double-header with Nigeria.
