Ashleigh Plumptre went home with another match ball after Al Ittihad and Al Ahly served an eight-goal thriller in Saudi Arabia.

Nigeria Super Falcons star Ashleigh Plumptre is enjoying her adventure in Saudi Arabia after leading Al Ittihad to an emphatic win against Al Ahly in the Women’s League.

Plumptre was in top-scoring form after she netted an excellent hattrick in Ittihad’s convincing 6-2 thrashing of Ahly.

All the goals were scored in a blistering first-half performance, with two of them in the space of three minutes.

It was the second time she would score three goals for Ittithad, having scored a hattrick on her debut against Dammam Eastern Flames back in September.

Plumptre’s show inspired Ittihad not only to a big win but also to the top of the table.

The Super Falcons defender has now scored six goals this season for the Ittihad side and will be looking to add to her tally when she steps on the pitch again.
