According to The Mirror, via Sportal, Arsenal could move for Norgaard this summer as they look to replace the outgoing Thomas Partey.

However, such a move would be surprising given the imminent arrival of Martin Zubimendi at the Emirates and with Mikel Arteta already having Declan Rice at his disposal.

Arteta is believed to want another midfielder to increase competition and squad depth, especially with Partey's contract expiring.

The Gunners also recently parted ways with Jorginho, who returned to Brazil. Norgaard, 31, is valued at around £9.5 million and wouldn't be an overly expensive option.

Brentford, however, are reluctant to lose another key player. Just a week ago, Bees manager Thomas Frank moved to Tottenham.
