The Spanish international was loaned to Galatasaray by AC Milan until 2026, but the Turkish champions have cut the loan short after securing Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
According to Marca and Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Morata will play the 2025-2026 season at Como, where he is wanted by manager Cesc Fabregas, his former Spanish national team teammate. He reportedly accepted the Italian club's offer at the end of June.
Como will be the sixth club Morata has played for in the last five years. The Spanish striker has previously played for Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, AC Milan, and Galatasaray.
Galatasaray set for Osimhen's arrival
Galatasaray has opted to move forward with Osimhen, for whom they held intense negotiations with Napoli before reaching an agreement.
According to Fabrizio Romano, via GSP, the deal is structured as follows: Galatasaray will pay €40 million this summer and another €35 million next year, plus €5 million in bonuses. This could bring the total transfer fee to €80 million.
Napoli also secured a 10% sell-on clause and inserted a stipulation preventing the Turkish champions from selling Osimhen to another Italian club for the next two years.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international returns to Turkey, where he scored 37 goals in 41 matches last season.
