Saudi Arabia giants Al-Hilal beat Barcelona to the agreement with Wolves for Ruben Neves.

Odion Ighalo's former club, Al-Hilal has reportedly reached an agreement with Wolves for the signing of Ruben Neves.

The Portugal international has one more year on his contract and looked set to leave the Midlands club after what looked like an emotional farewell in the last league game of the season.

He has been on the radar of LaLiga champions Barcelona, with members of the club leadership interested in Neves; however, their finances prevented them from making a move. The player is now set for a move to the Gulf.

According to the Athletic, the AFC Champions League finalists have agreed on a €55 million fee with the Julien Lopetegui-coached side for Neves.

The move follows Saudi Arabia's fresh interest in top talents from European clubs after the 'privatisation' of clubs in the league.

Wolves are reportedly eager to see the deal completed as quickly as possible, ending the 26-year-old's six-year association with the club.

Meanwhile, Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele talks about his future at Barcelona and reports that link him with Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Rennes winger spoke in an interview with Spanish publication Marca when he was questioned about his future and the links to PSG.

He trashed the PSG talks, claiming them to be baseless, before revealing he is currently in contract negotiations with the LALIGA champions.
