While other teams showed up in similar African attires and team-branded gear, the Super Eagles reminded everyone that representing your country means celebrating everything that makes it special and looking absolutely incredible while doing it.

The team had wrapped up their preparations with an international friendly against Egypt on Tuesday night at the Cairo International Stadium. Despite a spirited display, Nigeria suffered a 2–1 defeat after Sabad Mahmoud put the hosts ahead in the 28th minute.

Chidozie Awaziem drew Nigeria level late in the first half, but a 54th-minute strike from Mostafa Mohamed sealed the win for the Pharaohs. Following a recovery gym session on Wednesday, the team shifted focus to the tournament proper with Thursday's travel to Morocco.
