Kane is anticipating an electrifying Club World Cup
After finally breaking his long-standing trophy drought with a Bundesliga title win in 2025, Bayern Munich talisman Harry Kane is already setting his sights on more silverware, expressing keen anticipation for the Club World Cup.
The England captain revealed he's particularly looking forward to facing Argentine giants Boca Juniors, expecting a "great atmosphere in Miami."
Bayern Munich enters the Club World Cup, set to be held in the United States, as one of the firm favorites.
Their journey will begin with a clash against Auckland City, followed by highly anticipated matches against Boca Juniors and Portuguese side Benfica.
What Kane said
Speaking to reporters, Kane highlighted the fixture against the South American powerhouse.
"The game against Boca, in particular, will be a great match because I expect a great atmosphere in Miami; a lot of their fans will be there," he said.
While acknowledging the tough competition, Kane reiterated Bayern's winning mentality.
He added, "Overall, we expect some tough matches. Auckland is still an unknown opponent, and of course, we'll be the favourites on paper. But we know every team in this competition is strong. We have to prepare well, as we do for every game. For me as a player, it's a great experience to play against teams from different countries around the world."
The former Tottenham Hotspur star has seamlessly integrated into Bayern's high-octane system, bagging the Bundesliga Golden Boot for the second consecutive season.
