Aside from Inter Milan, Chelsea are also interested in snapping up the Arsenal academy graduate.

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun trained separately from the squad during Monday’s session in Los Angeles, suggesting that the former Reims loanee’s move away from the club is now on the cards.

The US international was working with an individual coach rather than going through the more intense training with manager Mikel Arteta on the pitch.

Balogun featured against MLS All-Stars in Washington last week but was an unused substitute against Manchester United on Saturday in New York.

His future is uncertain, with Arsenal looking for £50 million if they are to sell Balogun, who pledged his international allegiance to the US earlier this year.

Left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko was also doing individual work as he continues his recovery from the calf injury that kept him out at the end of last season.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in Balogun after he impressively scored 22 goals on loan at Reims from Arsenal last season.

The Hale End graduate wants regular first-team football next term after his standout campaign in France, although he is unlikely to be the main man under Arteta with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah ahead of him.

Arsenal are basing themselves at the LA Rams’ training facility ahead of their pre-season friendly against Barcelona on Wednesday.

The NFL team is owned by Arsenal’s majority owners, the Kroenke family.

Club director Josh Kroenke was in attendance along with sporting director Edu Gaspar and chief executive Vinai Venkatesham.

A story from The Athletic claims that Inter Milan are expected to make a bid for the 22-year-old, after deciding not to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

The Belgian was a priority target for Inter Milan, but angered the Italian giants by also speaking to their rivals AC Milan and Juventus.

Of course, Chelsea can offer Balogun the chance to remain in London, although Inter Milan – who finished as UEFA Champions League runners up – can offer him Champions League football.
