Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola has promised to remain with the Cityzens next season no matter what happens on the Premier League’s final day and FA Cup matches.
Guardiola confirms plans for next season
After eight years with Manchester City, Guardiola revealed that his hunger for success with the Cityzes has not waned at all, and insisted that he is keen to continue in the Premier League.

Speaking ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League title decider against West Ham, Guardiola was asked if he would continue at the helm of the reigning champions, and he replied, “Yes, I’ve a contract and I want to be here. My plan is to be here next season, yes or yes”.
Manchester City enjoying success under Guardiola
During Guardiola’s tenure, Manchester City have been the most dominant side in the Premier League, winning five of seven possible titles in that time, with their eyes set on a sixth league win in eight years.
Guardiola has also brought Manchester City the elusive first UEFA Champions League title, winning an incredible treble in 2023.
In addition to the numerous trophies, Guardiola has also smashed several records including reaching the 100-point mark in the Premier League and becoming the first manager in England to win the treble since Sir Alex Ferguson did so with Manchester United in 1999.
